PARKING DIRECTIONS
- The nonprofit Museum of African American Art has opened a new exhibit space inside Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall. The MAAA exhibit space is located on Level 2, in Suite 283, which is across from TJ Maxx. If arriving by car or rideshare service, please use the directions below to park on the upper level West Parking Deck at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall for same-level access to the MAAA exhibit space if you are using a walker, wheelchair, or personal mobility vehicle. Following the parking directions below, you will not need to use an escalator or elevator to access the museum's exhibit space.
- MARLTON AVENUE (NEAR KAISER)
- On Marlton Avenue between Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Santa Rosalia Drive, turn into the mall's parking area at the light at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza Driveway.
- At the first STOP sign, turn right and follow the driveway around the curve (do not enter the covered parking lot).
- At the second STOP sign, turn slight left up the orange ramp to the upper deck parking.
- Watch for cross traffic and pedestrians when you stop at the top of the ramp.
- Park near the mall's entrance, cross the walking bridge, and you will enter the mall near TJ Maxx.
- The MAAA exhibit space is Suite 283 across from TJ Maxx.
- Our mall suite number "283" appears at the base of the glass entrance, like the address on a curb. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR BLVD
- Enter the mall's driveway on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd between Crenshaw Blvd and Marlton Avenue, near the overhead bridge that says "Baldwin Hills Crenshaw."
- Once you enter the driveway, the mall will be on the left. Keep straight to the STOP sign.
- Pass Cinemark Theatre and stay right to drive up the orange ramp to the upper deck parking.
- Watch for cross traffic and pedestrians when you stop at the top of the ramp.
- Park near the mall's entrance, cross the walking bridge, and you will enter the mall near TJ Maxx.
- The MAAA exhibit space is Suite 283 across from TJ Maxx.
- Our mall suite number "283" appears at the base of the glass entrance, like the address on a curb.
NOTE: Please do not park at our longtime location at the former Macy's building at 4005 Crenshaw Blvd. The Museum of African American Art's historic signage remains on the outside, but the building is closed for redevelopment. Thank you.

Visit Metro.net to plan your trip to the Museum of African American Art. The closest Metro Rail station to the museum's location at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza is the Martin Luther King Jr Station on the K Line. The Martin Luther King Jr Station is right next to Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.
LADOT DASH Crenshaw | Leimert–Slauson | Midtown
You can ride the Los Angeles Department of Transportation's DASH bus to the Museum of African American Art! The Museum of African American Art's location at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza is accessible by three fare-free DASH routes: Crenshaw, Leimert/Slauson, and Midtown.

The Museum of African American Art has a new exhibit space inside Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza on Level 2 in Suite 283, across from TJ Maxx. During exhibitions, the museum is OPEN Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. MAAA is CLOSED on Monday and Tuesday.
