VACCINATIONS @ BALDWIN HILLS CRENSHAW MALL

Tuesday—Saturday,  March 2—6,  9 am — 12 noon

COVID–19 vaccinations will be available by appointment Tuesday through Saturday, March 2—6, at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The Pfizer vaccine will be distributed.

Eligible residents should call City Council District 8, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at (213) 473–7008 for an appointment.

Ask to speak with Mr. Jermaine Kelly. If the line is busy, please leave a voicemail and he will return your call. To make an appointment, please have the recipient's name, address, birthdate, cell number, and email address available. That person will be asked to show their photo ID at the vaccination site. The vaccination site will be located off Stocker, near the International House of Pancakes. At CD 8 mobile vaccination sites, the vaccinations are administered and supervised by the LA Fire Department.

VACCINATIONS @ SOUTH PARK RECREATION CENTER

Tuesday—Saturday, March 2—6, 9:00 am — 3:00 pm

From Tuesday through Saturday, March 2–6, Councilmember Curren Price and partners will be back at South Park Recreation Center, 345 E. 51st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90011, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm to provide first or second doses of the COVID–19 vaccine to eligible individuals (visit the LA County Department of Public Health website for information about eligible sectors). Supply is limited, and priority at this mobile vaccination location will be given to District 9 residents. To make an appointment or request a ride (must live in CD 9), please call the District Office at (323) 846-2651.

KEDREN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER at 4211 S. Avalon, Los Angeles, CA 90011, is vaccinating local residents of South Los Angeles who are healthcare workers OR age 65 and older. You can visit the LA Department of Public Health website to check availability at Kedren (and other locations) and book your vaccine appointment.

WALK-UPS ARE ACCEPTED AT KEDREN! If you are a healthcare worker OR age 65 and older, walk-ups are accepted and you do not need to make an appointment or register online in advance. You will complete your registration form in-person on paper when you arrive for your vaccine. Please bring your ID, if possible. Kedren has been administering the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, based on availability. You should expect to wait in the line for "seniors," which is different from the "standby line."

STANDBY LINE: Don't be discouraged if you see a long line at Kedren. The long line you may have seen outside the Kedren building or on the news is the "standby line," where people are waiting until the end of the day to find out if there is any leftover vaccine that might be offered to them instead of going to waste. This is NOT the line you would stand in at Kedren to get vaccinated if you are a healthcare worker or you are age 65 and older.
