IMPORTANT: Please do not park at the museum's original location at the former Macy's building (4005 Crenshaw Blvd.), which is closed for redevelopment.
Parking & Finding The Museum
The nonprofit Museum of African American Art has opened a new exhibit space inside Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza. The MAAA exhibit space is located on Level 2, in Suite 283, which is across from TJ Maxx and next door to Nena's Organics. If you are arriving by car, we recommend parking on the upper level West Parking Deck:
Enter the mall's parking lot from Santa Rosalia between Stocker and Marlton, next to Kickin' Crab and Post & Beam.
At the STOP sign, keep straight to take the curved ramp to the upper deck parking.
Park near the mall's entrance, walk across the bridge, and you will enter the mall near TJ Maxx.
MAAA is in Suite 283 across from TJ Maxx. You will see a beautiful mural by local artist "Aiseborn" showing through the glass at the museum's entrance.
The suite number "283" appears at the base of the glass entrance, like the address on a curb.
We look forward to seeing you at the new MAAA exhibit space inside Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza!
