The California Association of Museums (CAM) is sponsoring a bill called AB 755 "California Museums For All" in the California State Legislature, which would make museums more accessible to all Californians. AB 755 would create a California-based Museums For All program that offers individuals and families with Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards free or very low-cost admission to museums ($0–$3.00 per person). It would also provide an administrative fee to participating California museums and allocate additional funding to the California Cultural and Historical Endowment’s Museum Grant Program.
